Introduction

Recently everybody is becoming environmentally
conscious to some extent. Our forests, lakes, the air
that we breathe are all vitally important to all of us.
However, many of us are over looking the most
immediate environment - OURSELVES.
Health and balance of this "inner environment" is not
achieved by accident; it is the result of daily
participation in good food, good thought, good
exercise etc.
Our health care cannot be left up to doctors. It is our
responsibility and indeed our right to maintain it. The
true physician then assists the patient in regaining
his or her own health and understanding the basic
principles of health and wellness. In this way,
"medicine" is put back where it belongs; in the
individual's lifestyle where sickness can be prevented
before it occurs. This clinic uses acupuncture,
moxibustion and shiatsu as the main methods by
which patients are helped to help themselves.

About Edward Obaidey, Clinic Director
Edward Obaidey graduated from the Tokyo
Therapeutic Institute in 1990, and leads his practice
"Edward Acupuncture Clinic" in Tokyo. He is the
founder of the Japanese Acupuncture and
Moxibustion Skills Foundation, and organization
dedicated to the practice and preservation of
traditional Oriental medicine, and has given seminars
in England, Australia and Canada. Edward is
privileged to have studied with Ikeda Sensei, and to
have assisted him in the presentation of seminars
